At a young age, I learned that when I plan for something in life, something usually happens to delay those plans or they don’t work out. As I’ve grown older I’ve tried to not “plan” life. My motto seems to be “Live Life, Don’t Plan Life” because every time I try to plan and work towards a goal, something happens and those plans change.
I have people tell me all the time, that if it doesn’t work out that way then it wasn’t meant to be. But after so many times, you have to learn a different route and find a different approach to things.
I learned the other day that my left shoulder surgery could be months away, when I was thinking that we were just weeks away.
In the back of my mind I know things may change and things may work out and get done the way I “planned” but I am once again not getting my hopes up on that idea.
And of course when one things gets delayed its like the domino effect, other things start to start fall out of place, leaving me to wonder “what do I do now?”
Of course only time will tell if things will work out the way I had “planned” but the way I’ve planned is also the easiest and more convenient way of things, and with my life the more convenient the less likely that way will work.
